We had a wonderful Mother's Day Weekend.
First, I went to the Junior League Show House in Hartford with my Mom and some friends. The house was beautiful and I thank provisional member Amanda Herzberger for the ticket (I still owe you money!). Afterward, we went to a late lunch with my parents, Michael and Teddy. Then, Michael rented the movie "Twilight," which I have been excited about watching since listening to the book-on-tape a few weeks ago. It was SO good!
On Sunday, I woke up to kisses and cards from both Michael and baby (well, maybe a few cries from baby too). Then, Michael made me Upside Down French Toast, a personal favorite, and he cleaned out my grubby car which has greatly improved my daily commute.
Overall, it was the best first Mother's Day I could possibly ask for!
