3rd Birthday Party!

Teddy had an amazing third birthday party! We had twelve little people over with their parents and a few siblings in tow for a Cars themed party.

Our wonderful friend, Suzy, baked his chocolate cake for the party.

Here is Teddy blowing out the candles on his cake while surrounded by friends.


After playing, jumping, screaming, and eating, it was time for a little peace and quiet. Teddy and Daddy got to watch Cars together on the sofa before bedtime.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Teddy Bear! This is Teddy's first picture of the day - his first picture of being three years old.

Teddy's big present this year is a wooden railroad and city from a Taiwanese company called, Good Toys. He has been playing with it since the minute he work up, which was about four hours ago. I think Mommy and Daddy did good this year!

Our other special present for Teddy this year is a fish tank. He has loved the fish tank at Sue's Kitchen, where we eat breakfast, and Michael thought it would be fun to get one for him this year. We are going to pick out the fish together early next week. Teddy has already said that he would like a Nemo and Dory fish. Hope the fish store has them!


Teddy and Daddy had a few minutes of quiet time amid the morning chaos. We love you, Teddy!

Last day as a two year old!

After celebrating with cake and asking endlessly about his presents, Teddy curled up in my lap and said that he didn't want to be a big boy tomorrow. What a total cutie! Goodnight, my almost-three year old.

Back To School

We all went back to school today! Teddy returned to Pieria to graduate to a new class with Teacher Fanny. Although the morning was filled with many tears (Teddy told me, "Mama, I cried for you today), we all finished off the day strong.

Trinity Reunion

It was so amazing to see some friends from Trinity this summer. Mandi Haines and her daughter Casey, and Kalia Kellogg came to visit the lake for lunch and a swim in July. It was wonderful to see them and to catch up!

Homeward Bound

Although I have many more summer updates, I didst get them done before our return to Taiwan. Just wanted to send a quick update that we are sitting in the Hong Kong airport waiting for our flight to Taipei. Teddy has been running around like a crazy person, which is good because he needs to work off some of his two year old energy.
