Last Semester of Pieria!

A few pictures from Teddy's last semester at Pieria. Teddy will be heading to TAS next year for KA but we will be returning to Pieria occassionally. Thank goodness because we will really miss his teachers, Fanny and Megan, and the front office staff, Coco and Iris.

End of the Year Adventures!

It has been a busy last month of school but we have had the opportunity to spend some family time together lately. Our first adventure of the month of May was to visit the Taipei Children's Art Museum which is near our house in Taipei. They always have wonderful interactive exhibits. Last year they focused on Van Gogh and this year their theme was more modern and whimsical.

This past weekend, we celebrated many birthdays.  We started out by celebrating the 4th birthdays of friends Huck Fox and Sawyer Sinclair.  They had a joint pirate themed party, although I thought they should have had a river rafting adventure party - ha ha!

It's hard to wrangle 8 preschoolers but I think they did a good job getting everyone together for this picture.

The kids played pin the treasure chest on the map.  Teddy did a great job!

We sang Happy Birthday to both boys.

The next day, to celebrate Michael's birthday, we went to the top of the Taipei 101.

Teddy wanted to touch the top of the tower.  The Taipei 101 is the second tallest building in the world.

There were some clouds, but it was still a spectacular view.

The restaurant at the top of the 101 was serving a drink special, Taiwan Beer floats with mango sorbet.
We thought we needed to try one but wish that we hadn't!

They have a mailbox at the top of the 101 so we decided to write a postcard to Grandma Dorothy and send it to her!

Everything in Taipei needs a mascot and the 101 is no exception.  Meet Damper Baby!
It is modeled after the wind damper in the 101, which keeps the building from swaying too much in the wind.

The weekend finished with Disney Live with Sawyer Sinclair and special Teddy-made cupcakes for Daddy's birthday!
