Happy 3rd birthday to our little cutie, Ripley Roo!  He had a Peppa Pig theme birthday party at daycare.  He got to share the day with his BFF Luca and his friends Gavin and Oakley.

Barcelona Part 2

I had the morning on my last day in Barcelona to visit something I missed my first time in Barcelona in 2000 - the Sangrada Famila!  I was feeling brave so I decided to walk from my hotel to the church, which took about an hour, but it was a lazy hour.

I loved the tiles on the sidewalk in certain parts of Barcelona.

This building was designed by Gaudi.  I just happened upon it on my walk.

I reached the Church through a park.  What an exciting first view!

I love seeing the cranes in the sky.  Constructions began in 1882 and they haven't yet completed the church.

The light inside the Church was absolutely amazing.  Gaudi said that light was nature's paintbrush.

Barcelona Part 1

I got to fly to Barcelona to attend the Council of International Schools (CIS) conference.  Such a wonderful way to learn more about university counseling, visit a fun city, and hang out with colleagues from around the world.

Christmas at the Polo Grounds

This year, we attended the Dubai Women's Christmas Market at the Polo Grounds with our friend, Lisa Adams, who was visiting from Doha.  We had fun on the bouncy castles, playing carnival games, and watching our very first polo match!
