Lake Weekend!

My amazing girlfriends, Devon and Elizabeth, came to visit at the lake along with Devon's husband, Josh, and their beautiful daughter, Audrey (aka Teddy's girlfriend). We had such a wonderful time together and it went by far to quickly.

Devon planned this great zip lining adventure for the girls during the day on Saturday. We had far too much fun but were totally exhausted at the end of the day.

The whole gang, minus the kids, before Elizabeth had too leave us to the awaiting arms of a country singing Hootie! Let's do it again soon, ladies!

Butler, PA

We were so thrilled to spend a few days with Shana's family in Pennsylvania. We got to meet our newest cousin, Maggie McCurdy, and spend some time with Grandma Dorothy.

Teddy's first baseball game at Yankee Stadium!

Of course, we had to buy him cracker jacks!

Michael's birthday

Although it was a few weeks after Michael's birthday, the Russell family loves a party and this was a great reason to celebrate. We had a wonderful time with all of the Russell family and Nanny and Papa. Happy birthday, Michael!

Family Photo!

We are in yellow. Grammy and Pop are in Green. Peter, Elizabeth, Caroline and Andrew are in blue. Patrick, Cynthia, May, Cora and Patrick are in white.

Pop's little yellow car!

Teddy is totally in love and asks every other minute if we can ride in "Pop's little yellow car!"

Welcome Home!

Our second night at home was spent at a local fireman's parade with the Brennan family. It felt so AMERICAN!

Traditional Meal

Our wonderful housekeeper, Suzy, made us a traditional dragon boat festival meal of zongzi, a rice dumpling wrapped in bamboo leaves.

Let the summer begin: Dragon Boat Races!

Wow, the summer is almost gone and here I am blogging about its beginning! So many wonderful things have happened this summer and I can't wait to get started writing about it. Here we go...

The weekend after school ended was the Dragon Boat Festival. We decided to put off going to the States for a few days in order to attend the festival. We had a wonderful time watching the racing dragon boats and enjoying our last few days of Taiwanese culture before the summer.
