Monty and Gennie don't make the blog very often, but they were being especially cute this weekend and we just had to show them off. Don't worry all you Sebastian fans, he will be back on the blog soon!
Monty was doing this strange stretchy things with his front legs on Saturday while he sat on Shana's lap. He is certainly related to us because he looks so TALL in this picture.
Gennie is our quiet and sweet older kitty. From this picture, one would never know that her real name is The General.

6 Month Doctor Visit
Michael took Teddy to the doctor yesterday morning. Here are the vital stats:
Height - 28 inches (90th percentile)
Weight - 18.5 pounds (50-75th percentile)
The doctor said he is doing great and all of the nurses were complimenting him on the cute little part in his hair (which he has had since the day he was born, no right side parts for Teddy!).
Although Teddy got a few shots yesterday, Michael said he was a real trooper!

Mom and Baby Survive Day Care
Although it was a snow day, we thought Teddy should still go to daycare for a half day. This was a perfect transition for everyone. Teddy had a great day - a little crying after I left but he did just fine. Mom had a great day - a little crying after he left but I did just fine. We are home now and having a lot of fun together! I think that his next day at daycare will be better.

Good News and Not So Good News
On the good news front:
Teddy's first tooth has finally surfaced. It's on the bottom, right in the middle of his mouth. It's super cute.
On the not so good news front:
Teddy starts daycare tomorrow. I didn't hit it off so good with our daycare provider over the phone on Thursday so Mama is totally freaking out (but I've been known to do that on more than one occassion). I was able to keep my mind off of everything by helping out at my friend Devon's baby shower. Unfortunately, the hosts of the shower had a small fire this morning so the location shifted to Devon's house. I was so happy to have a distraction...a fun distraction!
