Throw Back to Spring Break

I was looking at the photos on my phone and found this awesome pictures from when the Kowalec's visited Dubai in March!  This is a crazy selection of my favorite photos!

Spring Break Day 7

We started the day by having everyone watch Ripley's Rugby practice at Dubai College.

We then drove to Motion Gate Dubai to enjoy a fun afternoon at the amusement park.

Spring Break Day 6

Today we drove to Abu Dhabi to visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

I had to wear an abaya and a head scarf. 

We also went to the Date Market and filled our car with tons of dates...not all of them made it home!

We had a super fun day at LEGOLAND Waterpark!

Spring Beak Day 3

We went to IHOP at the Dubai Mall for breakfast on the patio overlooking the Burj Khalifa.  After that, we explored the Mall with it's indoor ice skating rink, the most complete set of dinosaur bones ever found and a two story aquarium.  We decided to go into the aquarium, the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.

The kids loved seeing King Croc and taking a photo in the large display croc!

After visiting the aquarium, we drove out to the desert of Al Faqua and went camping.

Spring Break Day #1

Our very good friends, the Kowalec family, visited us this year from Taiwan for Spring Break.  They arrived early Saturday morning after an all-night flight so we decided to have a lazy day at Kite Beach to start our adventure together.

Godparents Again!

We had an amazing four days with the Kowalec family.  We are so thankful to have them in our lives and that they got a chance to come to our little lake house this summer!
