Earthquake!

A 5.0 earthquake hit Taiwan around 4:30pm. Having never experienced one before Shana said, "I've got to put this on the blog." Michael and Teddy didn't feel a thing. Earthquakes and impending typhoons, oh my!

Cultural Corner: Ghost Month

This month, the spirits come back to earth to visit with family members. To give them a good life upon returning to the afterlife, people will offer food, goods, and money. Walking home from work today was so exciting as many people were out setting their tables and burning paper money. It was an awesome sight.

At the water park again

We bought a season pass the last time we were at the water park so we went again this weekend. We had so much fun splashing around but Teddy's favorite part was driving the ride on camel with Daddy. Teddy loves to drive and he got to do it all by himself.

My Mom loves making roads with Teddy. Today he made a road for his cars out of the packing materials that surrounded our new fridge. We don't have many toys until our shipment arrives in September. I am so proud of his creativity.
