IMG Worlds of Adventure

Dubai is known for many of the biggest and best things in the world - the world's tallest building, the world's first seven star hotel - but our family was anxious to go to the world's largest indoor amusement park, IMG Worlds of Adventure.  

We had an awesome morning with our friends, the Baldwin family, riding on roller coasters, eating, and having way too much fun.

Teddy's Birthday Party (better late than never)

Happy 9th birthday to our sweet little Teddy Bear.  Teddy had an awesome time celebrating with his friends from school, hockey and baseball at his favorite place in Dubai, Magic Planet.

We loved that instead of putting his name on the TV screen that they taped letters to the TV screen.  Oh, Dubai!  So fancy some days...other days, not so much!

And then the group divided into teams and go to play nerf gun war.  Yes, even Ripley got into the fun and he was thrilled to be included on Teddy's team.

Rugby Ripley

Ripley had his first day of rugby practice this morning. He is in the U4 crowd with the Tigers RFC!

First Day of School

These super cool dudes had their first day of school this week! Teddy is in 4th grade at Dubai American Academy and Ripley is in preschool at Little Gems International.

Shana's Birthday

Nothing says birthday like a famous Dubai brunch.  Luckily there was a wonderful Spanish tapas brunch right across from our house.  We had a fabulous time celebrating, drinking, eating, dancing, and laughing.  I am so thankful to have such great people in my life!

Ripley's First Day of School

Oh my goodness, our little monkey is going to school.  Today was his very first day at Little Gems International.  He stayed for an hour and a half, as a lead up to his first full day on Sunday.  We are so proud of our big little boy!

EID Fun at the Mall

This past weekend was the most holy Islamic day, Eid Al-Adha.  The boys had so much fun going to the mall and decorating cookies shaped like the stars and the moon.
