Our office enjoyed brunch together...and more than a few drinks!

Play Date

Teddy had an awesome play date on Friday morning with is good buddy, Zuhaad. It was all Pokemon all the time with these two boys.

Eid Break: Day 5

Today we drove to Atlantis on the palm to see the Lost Chambers Aquarium. It was out of this world!

Eid Break: Day 4

Today we ventured out to the mall (the thing to do in Dubai over holiday) and out into the desert to see a 1950s style food truck rest stop. Very strange and very Dubai!

Eid Break: Day 3

We ventured to the new rain forest exhibit in Dubai called The Green Planet.

It is an amazing four stores indoor rainforest. 

The boys loved the birds, insects, butterflies, and the sloth!

Today we went ice skating...

Then we had a yummy lunch from three food trucks that were tucked into a warehouse in an industrial area near our house. A smart way to still do business despite the heat! 

And we finished the day with a swim in the pool!

Today was our first day back to the beach in Dubai. What a great place to spend a morning!

I was a little down about my birthday this year.  37 doesn't seem like the most exciting year but it was a total joy to walk into my office and find flowers and a balloon waiting for me.  What a great day!
