We had such an amazing trip to Cairo for American Thanksgiving this year, and it was made even more special that my parents could travel with us. It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for all of us.
We stayed at the Cairo Marriott, which is a former palace. We spent the first day in Giza at the pyramids and at the Step Pyramid of Saqqara.

The second day we visited the Cairo Museum, Coptic Cairo, and the bazaar. More photos coming soon but I leave you with this black and white of Cairo taken from our hotel balcony in the morning.
