Jordan - Mount Nebo

Mount Nebo is where Moses came to see the Promised Land and where he is supposed to be buried. It was a beautiful view with a nice little church at the top overlooking Israel and the Dead Sea.

At the top of the mountain is a beautiful monument to Moses with a cross with a snake.

Inside the new looking church is the ruins and mosaics of the monistary that was originally built here in the second half of the 4th century.
