We drove from the Pancake Rocks to Franz Josef Glacier in just a few hours and had a beautiful spot at the camp site to view the snowy mountain!
This is the view we woke up to the next morning.
We had breakfast and packed up our van for the short drive to the trail head to view the glacier.
The viewing platform was about a 45 minute hike into the forest. This is one of the views we caught of the glacier as we walked in.
Michael loves waterfalls so here are a few pictures of the beautiful waterfalls we passed along our hike.
We finally made it to the viewing platform, which kept us a safe distance away from the ice and the river.
