To Grandmother's House We Go...or Whites Bay!

We found ourselves over the river and through the woods on our way to Whites Bay. We got VERY lost and were worried that we would have to camp out in the middle of the forest, but eventually the dirt road through the forest led us where we needed to be. We stayed the night at the Department of Conservation campground in Whites Bay (in the middle of nowhere). After setting up our van for sleeping, we found ourselves on the beach at sundown.

We hiked out to a very cool arch in the rocks by the ocean for some photos.

The next morning we went back out on the beach to explore a cove. Michael was the only one brave enough to go in!

Michael also got some beautiful photos of the beach!

We then took a beautiful hike through the woods to a lookout over the ocean.

Michael and Ripley decided to go on a but further.

Ripley is loving his hiking vest that he got for Christmas!

Beautiful!
